The first thing on my list of things that makes me happy is ... lists. I like organizational lists -- To Do lists, wish lists, shopping lists, lists of things I need to pack for a trip -- but my favorite lists, really, are the pointless ones that are really only there for fun. I love going through old census records, reading baby name books, looking at lists of episode titles of long-running television shows, &c. I'm not exactly sure where this love of list comes from, or what it means, since the kind I like best are the ones without practical uses (for me)...
